Introduction and origin of pickleball

Pickleball is a sport of hitting the ball with a racket, which originated from Bunnbridge Island in Seattle, United States. Say it's a mix of tennis, badminton and table tennis. The "Pick" ball gets its name from a dog of one of the inventors; the dog named Pick used to run with the ball in his mouth when he started inventing the game.

The court of pickleball is exactly the same as that of badminton.

The balls used are the size of tennis balls and are thin-shelled hollow balls made of hard plastic with 26 holes about 1 cm in diameter. The cross-grip racket is shaped like a larger table tennis racket. It was originally made of wood, and currently there are lighter fiberglass, EVA, PE materials, honeycomb paper, mixed materials and carbon fiber boards.
